What does Chambers Moore do?
Our job is to identify and find the right solution for each persons financial requirements, whether it be debt
management, a mortgage, a secured loan, insurance or a package which includes a combination of these.
What obligations do I have if I contact you?
NONE. We need to know your financial circumstances to find the appropriate solution. We will give you a courtesy call to ensure you have received the
information and you may take this opportunity to ask questions or change any details that may be incorrect. You will not be
pressured into making a decision.
Does debt management affect my credit rating?
Yes it does and unfortunately there is no way to change this fact. Nothing is forever though, your credit score will repair itself over time, but this can
only be achieved by making affordable repayments on time (on a regular basis).
Will borrowing more money make things worse?
Look at the facts. If you borrow £10,000 to clear your debt, how much interest is added?
If you were in £10,000 of debt before you took the loan you are now more than likely in excess of
£16,000 worth of debt before you even leave the bank. Now ask yourself "did this help?" In most instances you got into this position
because your circumstances changed. This new loan will have a life of at least 5 years, what happens if they change again? Rescheduling a debt
management plan is much easier than arranging a new loan repayment.
I want to buy a house, will being in debt stop me?
Secured lenders recognise the effort people put in to getting their lives back on track. If you prove you are back in control of your finances
it is possible for us to arrange a competative rate mortgage with a top lender within 18 months of entering a debt management plan.
What does Chambers Moore get out of this?
We get paid! We make no secret of the fact we charge a fee, but you will be told of all fees before you make your decision.
All fees will be included in the quotation so there are no surprises. We are a professional
company registered with the office of fair trading, offering the ultimate financial service, structured in a manner as to be able to offer the
most competitive rates.
What happens if Chambers Moore can't help me?
We will find someone who can, or give you the information on how the problem may be solved.
